GTA 5 next-gen version will be released on March 15, in a few days. We already know the prices of these calibrated versions for the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. An appetizing promotion will be applied in particular for the first few months.
After the release of GTA The Trilogy and the formalization of GTA 6, Rockstar is betting heavily on the launch of GTA 5 with the sauce of next-generation consoles. As a reminder, the boss of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, had hammered that these new versions would be much more than “simple ports”, a lot of work having been done to adapt them to the latest technologies.
The PS5 and Xbox Series versions should thus offer a real graphic slap to the players, the 4K 60 FPS and the ray-tracing being in particular in the game. Another appreciable improvement: the loading times which will be much shorter. These two versions will be released on March 15. The pre-orders having been opened, we finally know the prices of these ports awaited with insistence by the players.

To summarize, big promotions will be applied until June 14, when the prices will grow. Note also that PS5 players will be better off than Xbox fans during the first months. Indeed, the GTA 5 pack with GTA Online will be available at the aggressive price of 9.99 euros on the PlayStation 5. And those who only wish to venture on the Online version will have nothing to pay. After June 14, the full pack will cost 39.99 euros while the online version will be sold for 19.99 euros.
But what about Xbox Series players? They will have to pay 19.99 euros until June 14 to get their hands on GTA 5 and GTA Online. After this date, the bill will amount to 39.99 euros. Finally, GTA Online will be offered at a price of 9.99 euros initially. You will then have to pay an additional 10 euros.
Besides, a lot of people were wondering if there would be a free GTA 5 upgrade for PS4 and Xbox One players. But as expected, it is not. Players will need to heat up the blue card to get this new iteration. What annoy more than one…
